Cold Hardy Plants and Trees in Tampa Bay
Keep it Green has a huge selection of cold hardy plants and trees, all currently selling at a 10% discount. The last few winters in the Tampa Bay area have been brutally cold and encouraged our customers to replace a lot of their tropicals that didn’t make it with cold hardy plants and trees. Lately we have also been incorporating a higher concentration of cold hardy plants and tree into the mix of our landscape designs, those that can survive cold December and January nights hovering just above or falling below the freezing point into the twenties. We have designated one entire side of our nursery to display all the cold hardy material we have in one place. Since this selection tends to be heavy on the green, we included some selections that will give you the most color possible. For example, Arboricola Triad has a colorful tropical look and handles the cold a little better than Crotons. Downy Jasmine also does well in the cold and still gives you flowers on and off throughout the entire year. Keep it Green will work with you to select the best choices for your yard. We will help you match your tastes with the plants and trees that will thrive even it cold weather. Here are a few of the cold hardy favorites in the Tampa area but we carry many other varieties:
